Why Leave Transaction Feedback?
Leaving feedback is subjective and not mandatory, but it is encouraged: feedback helps other users assess the reliability and integrity of sellers and buyers.
When leaving feedback, the user selects the feedback type (positive, neutral, or negative) and writes a comment.
What should the feedback contain?
- Description of the transaction item (product) – its condition and compliance with the description that was provided on the listing page during the sale.
- Description of the transaction process (how communication with the counterparty went, how quickly the transaction was completed, and all other points directly related to the transaction).
How does feedback affect the rating?
The user's rating is the main indicator of their reputation on Auction.ru. Only direct participants in the transaction (counterparties): the seller and the buyer, can change the rating.
The rating is calculated according to the following rules:
- positive feedback increases the rating by 1;
- negative feedback decreases the rating by 1;
- neutral feedback leaves the rating unchanged.
How to leave feedback (review)?
You can leave feedback on a transaction in your personal account > Transactions > action button (under the listing title, select: Give feedback to seller/buyer):
Then select an assessment (positive, neutral, or negative) and enter the feedback text (maximum length 200 characters):
Attention! The buyer can leave feedback on the transaction no earlier than 24 hours after the transaction is completed.
Can I cancel my feedback?
Only negative feedback can be edited, positive and neutral feedback cannot be canceled.
You can delete your negative feedback in your personal account > transactions > action > delete negative feedback:
Automatic posting of positive feedback in response to buyers
For sellers, there is the option of automatically posting positive feedback in response to buyers.
When receiving positive feedback from a buyer, a reciprocal positive feedback is automatically posted.
To enable this function, go to the Transactions section in your personal account and on the left, click on Automatic posting of reciprocal feedback. Check the box and click Save.
