Automatic Bidding System

On Bargainz.IN, an Automatic Bidding System is in operation.

When participating in auctions and placing a bid, the price displayed is not the one you entered, but the price that corresponds to the bid increment, according to the automatic bidding system.

Participant 1, placing the first bid on the listing page, can simply confirm the recommended figure in the "bid" box—thus placing a bid 1 BID INCREMENT higher than the Starting Price. However, they can also enter a larger amount in the box, setting their MAXIMUM bid. In both cases, the Current Price will only rise by 1 BID INCREMENT above the Starting Price.

When the next bidder (Participant 2) makes a bid that does not exceed Participant 1's MAXIMUM, the automatic bidding system raises Participant 1's bid to the amount = (Participant 2's bid amount + BID INCREMENT). Participant 2 receives a notification that their bid has been outbid. This will continue until Participant 2's bid exceeds Participant 1's MAXIMUM. Then, Participant 1's bid (at their maximum) will be outbid, and Participant 2 will become the leading bidder.

This situation can then be repeated with subsequent bidders. The automatic bidding system will raise the previous bidder's bid until the next bidder's bid exceeds their maximum.

How to use the automatic bidding system?

In the "bid" field on the listing page, enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the lot. The automatic bidding system will raise bids instead of the user by the bid increment, without exceeding their maximum bid.

The bid increment is the minimum amount by which the next bid must exceed the previous one, and depends on the current auction price:
