How to register on Bargainz.IN?
To register Bargainz.IN, you need to:
- Enter your email address;
- Provide a contact phone number;
- Create a strong password* (it must contain 6 to 16 characters, at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and one digit); *Attention! The password cannot be the same as the address and password of your email, your first name, last name, or username!
- Accept the terms of the Agreement and enter the code from the image;
A message with a link* to confirm registration (account activation) will be sent to the specified email address.
*Attention! The account activation link is valid for 48 hours after receipt.
During registration, the user is automatically assigned a client_number instead of a username, which can be changed (read about changing the username below).
How to create a strong password?
Basic requirements for creating a password:
- Length from 6 to 16 characters;
- Must contain at least one digit;
- Must contain at least one uppercase letter;
- Must contain at least one lowercase letter;
- Must not contain a login, your first or last name.
- Must not be the same as your email password.
Can I change the password?
The password can be changed in two ways:
- Through your personal account > Settings > Change password
- Through the Login button > I don't remember my password
If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address or login in the proposed form, the verification code from the image, click the Send button - a unique link to set a new password will be sent to your email address.
What role does Email play on Bargainz.IN?
This is an important component of the account, which:
- Participates in the mechanism of confirming registration and changes to the account;
- Can be used to log into the account as a login;
- Receives automatic notifications about your activity on the marketplace and the activity of your counterparties;
- Ensures receipt of important messages from the administration;
- Serves as a place of communication on a transaction with counterparties.
Can I change the Email in my account?
To change the email address in the Settings > Change email section, enter the new email address, the verification code from the image, and save the changes:
Create different passwords for your account and email!
You cannot use one email address for multiple accounts, as the email address is also a login.
If you do not receive our notifications, add our address mailer@newauction.ru to your contact list in your mailbox or make other settings that allow our messages to be received from this address.
What is a username on Bargainz.IN?
A username is a user's name (nickname, login) on the marketplace, used to log into the marketplace and visible to other users.
During registration, the user is automatically assigned a random username in the format client_1a2b3c4d5e6f.
It can be changed in your personal account > Settings > Set login (nickname):
Please note that you can only change your login once.
What username can I use?
- Length: up to 30 characters;
- Any combination of Latin and Cyrillic letters, numbers, "-", "_", "+", ".", ":", "=", "!";
- It is forbidden to use the marketplace name or affiliation to it, profanity, contact information;
- We do not recommend indicating personal data.
The symbols "_", "-", "space" are ignored by the system, it perceives the username without them.
To log in to the system, you can use a username or email address.
Do I need to go through the Verification procedure?
Verification is a check of the user's data reliability, which is based on confirming the phone number's belonging to the account. The Verification procedure is free and is carried out once for one account. A verified user inspires confidence in counterparties and also has the ability to receive SMS confirmation when changing personal data, in particular, the password and email to the account. If the verified user or an attacker wants to change the password on the account, they will need to enter the code from the SMS, which is impossible for the attacker.
How to go through the Verification procedure?
You can go through the Verification procedure in your personal account Settings > My settings > Verification, as well as when listing a new listing for auction.
Then you need to enter your phone number, receive an SMS with the code and enter the code in the confirmation form. A user who has passed verification is indicated by the symbol - "green checkmark".
