Anti-sniping

This option allows all interested users to have time to participate in the bidding.

With the Anti-Sniper option enabled, the auction is automatically extended by 20 seconds after the last bid if the bid is placed 20 seconds or less before the expected auction end time.

Anti-Sniper can be enabled when listing an item with the auction types Simple Auction and Auction with Buy It Now Option.

To enable the option, check the corresponding box when listing the item. You can also enable Anti-Sniper in an active listing by clicking on "Actions" in the listing itself and then clicking "Enable Anti-Sniper" in the pop-up window.

Anti-Sniper is retained when a listing is automatically relisted. In an active listing, you can enable or disable Anti-Sniper before the first bid.
