Setting the Bid Increment

The seller can choose one of two bid increment options for the following auction types:

• Simple Auction – an auction with a starting price;
• Auction with Buy It Now option – an auction with a starting price and a fixed "Buy it now!" price.

Bid increment - the minimum amount by which the next bid must exceed the previous one, depends on the current auction price.

To choose, you need to go to your personal account in the Seller Settings section and select Bid Increment on the left.

Up to 5000 rubles, the bid increment is the same in both options.

The Standard bid increment is the default.

The new bid increment will only apply to newly listed or relisted listings. The bid increment will not change for listings listed before the change.

If the listing specifies the automatic relisting parameter, then the bid increment will also change during relisting.

The bid increment cannot be changed in active listings.

For example, if you already have listings for sale and you want to list new ones with a different bid increment. You must first change the Bid Increment in your personal account and then list new listings. New listings will already have a different bid increment.
